Special mention, kudos & thanks go to:
- Greg & Mike Blocksom, for roasting the best lamb this side of the Kingdom.
- Andy Morriss, for demonstrating the proper technique for eating lamb.
- Dale Hudak, for providing the tent.
- Dan Gall, for a pan full of barbecued ribs, a fine appetizer as we waited for the lamb to finish roasting.
- Dave Stump, my next door neighbor, for his "flaming arrow" attempt to set the hut on fire.
- Pete Zimmerman, for his graceful & entertaining application of gasoline to the hut.
- Jeremy & Chris Butler, for their help in constructing the hut.
- All my neighbors, for not calling the police or fire department on us.
- Ghassan Kash, for providing the hookah, which was a hit again this year.
- Nick Simon, for driving in from Lansing, MI, for the weekend.
- Roy Meador, for driving in from Spring Arbor, MI, for the weekend, & for bringing with him two young men from the Orthodox Christian Fellowship at Spring Arbor College.
- Everybody who contributed with a great selection of beer, wine, munchies, side dishes, & desserts. You guys are terrific. There was very little left. We ate & drank it all.
- Annette Butler & Michelle Blocksom, who seized the opportunity for a girl's night out & organized an evening at the Macaroni Grill for some of the "MBP widows."
- And lastly, to Fr Stephen Ziton of St George Antiochian Church, who stayed very late & let Fr Michael win at poker. He is a gracious loser.
