Fr Patrick Henry Reardon on prayer

The Greater Cleveland Council of Orthodox Clergy was honored to have Fr Patrick Henry Reardon of All Saints Orthodox Church in Chicago to be with us and preach for Vespers on the Sunday of Orthodoxy. On the Monday morning following, Fr Patrick spoke to the GCCOC on the subject of the prayer life of a Priest. In his remarks, Fr Patrick indicated that there is little difference between the prayer life of a Priest and that of any Christian. With that in mind, and with his permission, we are posting here the main part of his presentation on prayer for the benefit of all.

Fr Patrick speaks mostly about the place of the Psalms in the life of prayer. We hope you enjoy his words as much as the clergy did when he gave them. (Click on the link below for streaming audio.)
