Fr Patrick H Reardon on prayer
Our congregation

The people of St Innocent's come from a variety of backgrounds: Greek, Russian, Ukrainian, Serbian, Middle Eastern, Romanian, German, Macedonian, Hungarian. Why, there's even a Texan or two in the mix! Many of us are converts. Our youngest member is 1 year old, our oldest is 92, and about 40% of us are minors. There are well over a hundred of us, and, thanks be to God, we keep on growing.

Our parish has sent 13 missionaries to Albania. Read about them here.

Our vision

Our vision statement is this:

The grace of the Holy Spirit inspires us to worship God fervently, to grow spiritually, and to share His love with each other and with everyone we meet.

What it means is explained here.

St Innocent, our Patron Saint

Our father among the Saints Innocent, Metropolitan of Moscow, Enlightener of the Aleuts and Apostle to America (1797-1879), was a Russian Orthodox priest, bishop, archbishop, and Metropolitan of Moscow and all Russia. He is known for his missionary work, scholarship, and leadership in Alaska and the Russian Far East during the 1800s. He was an exceptional missionary, scholar, linguist, and administrator. He learned several native languages and translated parts of the Bible and other religious texts into those languages. (more)
